Each afternoon begins with a short Qur’an session (4:00–4:30 PM) following check-in and prayer. For Muslim students, this is an opportunity to strengthen recitation, deepen understanding, and center their day around faith. For students of other backgrounds, the Qur’an offers something valuable as well:
Universal lessons that emphasize compassion, honesty, respect, and service.
A grounding moment of reflection and mindfulness to reset after the school day.
Cultural enrichment that broadens perspectives and fosters mutual understanding.
This time sets a positive tone for the rest of the program, helping all students enter with focus and clarity.
*Alternative forms of mindfulness practices are welcome
